Singer 401 with #48 cabinet

First time user, when I retired I needed to find something useful to do, then shortly there after may mother passed (97 years old) all is good we had great relationship. She left me a nice old Colombia sewing machine, one day I got in front of that old machine and got it to work (long story short.) Now I have a lot of sewing machines various make and models.
Just recently I was visiting a Goodwill outlet store and saw a Singer 401 it came with all the goodies and it was inside a #48 cabinet I had not seen this cabinet before, I just had to have it ($24.00.) In doing my research I found that the #48 cabinet only came with Singer 201 which I have several.
I have restored several sewing machine cabinets and the #48 has several scratches on the cover leaves, I don't know what kind of wood was uses so I'll be taking my time if I decide to restore it.
Any thought would be helpful. Yes this cabinet is much heavier then other Singer cabinets.
