Deplaylady, I adore your avatar. She looks so precious. We once saw a T-shirt stating, "What part of Princess do you not understand." She needs one.

I think I have 12 though the Touch and Sew that needs to leave shouldn't count. It's so hard to put a machine in the dumpster but it's just taking up space here. Two can be sold, but the rest are staying.

I have 18 some running some waiting to be cleaned.

I'm getting the urge to find another one - I've been looking for White stuff for my newest, and keep seeing pictures of the very pretty, old White Rotary treadle machines. Though I don't want one in a base - just the head.

Yea, I know - I need another head like I need another . . . head! Though maybe a new brain would be good- one that didn't have this addiction to old sewing machines.

If you look in my "tradable" album you should see a white rotary portable that could be yours for shipping costs.

I wish these were closer to my place....

Never hurts to ask the seller if they'll ship. Worst that happens is they say no and you're out the cost of a phone call.

I tell my son that his inheritance is in my sewing machines. I have 14 very nice Featherweights and Singer 301's. In addition, I have a nice collection of toy machines. Every one is loved, cleaned, and used on a regular basis. Enjoy your hobby. Life is short and there are much worse vices. I almost forgot my grandmother's White and of course my modern Bernina 440.

I'm really glad I don't live in an area where they sell these great machines really cheap. I would be broke and have no room to move in this big ole house.

For me I don't know if its an addiction but I just love the vintage machines. I have a very short attention span but I can spend hours with these babies.
