Almost got a bargain!
 

I was looking on Craig's List and saw an ad that said 2 old sewing machines for $100. I clicked on the picture and almost choked when I saw that one was a featherweight. The other was a treadle in a parlor cabinet. I RAN to get my phone, but by the time I called, the lady said she'd sold the "one in the little box" but they didn't want the other one. She was amazed that they paid her the $100 for one machine. OMG! I've been looking for a FW for soooo long. Oh well. Maybe one day it will be my turn!

Did you at least pick up the one in the parlor cabinet? If that's in good shape you could trade it for a FW!

I didn't get it. They are on CL Jacksonville, still, but she says she only has the "cabinet" one left. DH says if I bring one more sewing machine home (I don't count portables as machines) he's going to live in the camper. Huuuummmmm. Hubby or machines?????? Oh decisions, decisions!

LOL Put HIM in the camper and bring him out when you need to carry in another heavy machine - I like that one...
