here is the machine on their website.

I already commented on their "For Sale" section being 75% "Sold " machines... frustrating to see what we missed, serves NO other purpose.

Steve,

I have one of those and they are to be avoided. The nylon parts tend to swell in high humidity and the main shaft bushings run out of lube and the shaft seizes up. Mine was seized rock solid and it took me a week to free it up.

In stock unaltered form they DO NOT take standard needles. They take the Kenmore #49 or Boye 2 1/2. The 15x1 is way too long. Mine is set up to use DBx1F serger needles as I didn't want to alter the machine.

And they DO NOT use standard bobbins. The closest match is the Featherweight bobbin and it's not identical.

If you are thinking of buying it, I'd recommend skipping to the next choice.

LOL, Nope! just thought it was wierd/cool. It would have to be made before 1885 for me to want it. and my daughter is set on a "black machine with backtack...."

Black machine with back tack ..... Lots of them out there. Singers, 15, 66, 99, 201, just to mention a few, and of course the HA-1 / 15 clones.
