My rocketeer obsession has grown, I am now pointlessly oogling *other* Craigslists!

found this one . . . looks like the Terminator Buttonholer has a sibling!

With the shape of the area underneath is that one for saddle making maybe?

bearisgray 07-05-2013 04:33 AM

Maybe for a cobbler or shoe repair machine.?

It is a Singer 27-4 leather patch machine.

Prim Quilts 07-05-2013 06:15 AM

That is a cool looking machine!

Lara122 07-05-2013 06:40 AM

So Caroline, basically that one could sew anything?

Goodness, i learn tons here! ;0))

the really cool thing about the 29 series is that it is a walking foot that has a revolving mechanism in the head which allows it to be turned in any direction while sewing. My first try I was able to write my name in stitching in 4 oz leather

Steve, that is too cool! Took me a long time to kind of get my mind around how that worked, you know?! lol

SteveH 07-05-2013 03:07 PM

forgiven... It took me a few minutes and "I" was hands on playing with the durn thing....

It's a 29, aka "boot patcher"
