Antique Merrow 60w serial number 34067

60w antique Merrow sewing machine. I'm curious how much it is worth and where can I sell something like this. I really know absolutely nothing about stuff like this.

The first place I would check is ebay, assuming I know enough about the machine to narrow my search. usa-dealer.net (I have no affiliation with this site) has one for sale for $450, but of course it's only worth what someone will actually pay.

You might find this interesting, although not specifically about your machine:

eww I just looked up pictures of your machine. I didn't recognize the name. it appears you have an industrial machine and maybe an overlocker ( whatever that is.).

For your sake that means that your potential buyer pool is much smaller than most. Does it have a motor with it? stand?

Welcome to the board and good luck.

All Merrow machines that I've personally seen are actually crochet machines. I have one that does a plain crochet and an 8-stitch shell. You can tell if it's a crochet machine if there's a little latch hook to the right of the needle. Fascinating little machines. We have a couple at the store where I work that we call "blanket-stitch machines." It does a plain crochet stitch around two pieces of fleece or minky. It gives it a nice finish. We've been doing that for customers for at least 30 years.
