Antique spools... what do they go to?

The other day someone at my father's worked took a liking to me after chatting with her about sewing machines. Turns out shes a quilter and enjoys primitive things. i told her about my Willcox & Gibbs, and she was very enamored with the idea of a treadle and now wants one! So while she is taking a look at my Brother (which is a new machine) because the bobbin hates me, dad came back with a bag that she gifted me with. inside where a bunch of vintage wooden spools... and then these two antique spools. I assume due to the size that they belong to a spinning wheel and not a sewing machine, but figured id ask!

as you can see, the "white" one has thread still on it. So let me know what you guys think!

I don't know what type of machine the spools go to but they make the neatest candle holders. You can buy a little insert at most craft stores that fits into the end of the spool which holds the candle. It's a great way to show off your spools and also makes a great conversation piece.

I think they might be thread spools from a textile mill?

There were several textile mills in and around my home town. Some of them also ran outlet stores to sell seconds. They usually would display several of the spools and bobbins in the stores and often offered them for sale.
