Any groups in Indiana?

I recently purchased my very own Featherweight, and am excited to get involved with other Featherweight owners. I was wondering if there are any Featherweight groups in Indiana, specifically the Terre Haute area. Happy sewing!

I'm not in Indiana, but I'd do a google search. There are some online groups and Facebook groups. Also, they're usually really popular with the "sit and sew" crowd. You know, those ladies that meet at the quilt shop on Tuesday morning to quilt and gossip. Anywhere people take their machines to sew as a group, the Featherweight has fans you can meet.

Featherweightology is one on Facebook and Nova Montgomery has a Facebook page too. At the sit and sew at my quilt shop I'm the only one who sometimes brings a featherweight. People like to look at it. Great for piecing.

Do you have a quilting or textile museum in town? That's how I got into FW's. Also see if your local quilt guild has a FW group. Or just go to a good quilt shop and ask the owner.

MaryBeth,
I'm not in Indiana, but I'm sure that there are quilters in your area that get together and sew. Featherweights are very popular among quilters.

I sew with, Thank You Quilters, we make wounded warrior quilts, I'm in Texas. My group often has 4-5 Featherweights and sometimes a 301. There are 2 members that always bring a FW.
