Any idea what model machine this Singer is? Value? It is a working unit.

Well, it's easy to see it's a model 15, because of the tensioner unit on the faceplate. That is the only model Singer did that way. Value is harder...mostly due to condition issues being very important. If the treadle cabinet is complete and in VERY GOOD to EXCELLENT condition....over $100. If there are condition issues, less, depending on if attachments are there, area of the country, etc. This is actually a very common machine, so don't be fooled by "rare", etc. Hope this helps.

In this area, it would probably be worth $50 for a very good to excellent condition machine. But the cabinet makes a BIG difference.

This looks to be a 15-30. The paint looks great! Is that the belt I see hanging behind the bobbin winder, it appears to be in bad shape but those are easy to replace.

The bed decals are a little tattered too....RAF decals are harder to find, but only worth more if they're in excellent condition.

I found a video that shows how to thread your machine. The woman in the video states it is a 15K.

Yeah - the guy selling it wants me to believe it's a very rare antique and others like it are selling for $200. I think I pass on this one.

It actually did find me!!! I found a Singer 403A (see my other post) on Craigslist. The seller kept forgetting to call me back and I finally connected and went and saw the machine. It's a well used, loved machine. I got it home, cleaned and oiled it and now it's running like new. yippee!!!
