What a great bunch of quilters we have here - helping each other out.

Maybe you could email the seller and find out who purchased his machine and get a copy of the instruction manual. He'd probably have to email her and get her to contact you.

I figured out how to put the spool holder on, thanks to Nursie76 sending me to an Ebay site with a pic of where it should be! I do have a compartment on top of the machine that I have no idea what it supposed to do. I'll add that pic--maybe someone has something like it on their machine?

I have a machine that is like yours only under a different name. The compartment on top is for cams to do automatic embroidery. I have an orginial manual to mine and it shows how to thread and put the cams in. I think it is supposed to have 20 cams. I can send you a copy of the thread guide if you pm me. Hope this helps.

Your machine is a late 50's to mid 60's machine. The Japanese were really using the Americana look back then and most machines favored the autos of the day with lots of chrome and the popular colors of the cars that were on the road.

Class 15 bobbins and the thread path should be relatively easy to figure out just connect the dots.

You can not go wrong with a machine like this at all.

Thanks Sharon. BTW I finally did get a treadle. Kind of worse for wear but I used Billy's instructions to clean and shine her up, gave her a new belt, glued the cabinet back together, stripped her now trying to figure out what kind of finish I want to use...hummmm, decisions, decisons, decisions!

This was exactly my thought about it. When I saw the pic I felt like I was at a classic car show :-D My daughter would love that machine--she just painted her bathroom that same color!!! That machine is "groovy"!!
