CD in Oklahoma |
It looks a lot like a New Home - except the top tension. Maybe this is a European made machine. I can't tell if the bobbin winder is missing, or would be in a different location than what New Home had. I also can't tell for sure on the picture, but the similar New Homes I'm looking at pictures of don't have a belt guard. Does this one have a flat or round needlebar - also can't tell from the picture.

Well, I can say that "Marque De Fabrique Deposee" is roughly "Trademark, Registered" in french.
A clearer shot of the name on the arm would help. |
Spent too much time on needlebar and google, and could not find any machine with a tension arm like that one - very unique.
|
I can make out some of the letters on the arm. The first two are LA, which is the feminine form of the.
The rest is a bit difficult , M? A R K? E ?. |
Should have noticed the OP is in Portugal to start with - then I would not have spend so much time looking at US made machines LOL!!
Still didn't find anything like that looking at French and German made machines, but I did read the New Home had some machines on that side of the pond for that market. I'd love to see the foot attachment method (since I'm into attachments). |
Beautiful, I have not seen a machine like that one before.

thanks foufymaus :) i now this machine is Frenh, but is similar at the new home...
|
Can you show the how it threads? And the shuttle? Or any attachments? Those would be really helpful in determining if it is anything like a New Home, other than the outside. A few other mfg made machines with that curved pillar, but New Home made the most like that. It's an elegant design (IMO) so I would almost expect a French company to copy it LOL!!
OK- I admit, I'm rather fascinated by that machine! |
