Auction tomorrow

Checking out an auction tomorrow that has treadle advertised. What I really want is one with a coffin top. No information on what this is. Hope it's worth looking at or there are other sewing goodies. It's going to be over 100 degrees with the heat index for humidity. Luckily it's local but I hate just opening the door in this kind of weather.

Go for it, and let us know.. Yup.. It's just as hot in NY.. but you still have to live, and staying in the house is getting claustrophobic.. It the office, and the vet with the dog, and was back home by 10:30, and have a load of laundry going..

Wish I could go with you! I miss Iowa soooo much!

It's supposed to be 107 here, heat index of 118... good day to stay inside and sew!

100 degree's , I still wearing coats and long shirts and turning on the heater !!!!!!!

some of those auctions/ estate sales , I found out the hard way ,, there add said antique foot power sewing machine.

I got there and it's a singer 603 and yep it has a foot control to control the power via a foot,, now days if it doesn't have a LED read out ,, it's antique.

an other listed a pedal sewing machine,, sure enough, it was there with the cord to the pedal plugged in the wall

This is the first summer in 16 years that the pasture is still green. In prior years we have always had to mow the dry grass short before July 4th because of the idiot neighbors shooting off fireworks. So waiting for summer. Also this is the first year that we have had to use the pellet stove to warm up the house in the morning in June.

This year after having three prior terrible years, I am growing my tomatoes under plastic tunnels. I think I have every known recipe on this planet earth for using green tomatoes.

You may be on the right track Notsureif. I bet there is a whole lot of people that don't have a clue about the weather control towers in Alaska, AKA HARP.

Well!!!!! you would not need a sweater in Arkansas, lol...It is so hot here, our front yard is already dying. I love cool weather, hate hot weather. Feel for us poor people who are having to deal with this heat Charlee, lol....I'm trying to go outside as much as I can stand it though. I can't stand being shut up in the house all the time. Wishing you had some of this summer.

I know what you mean, Charlee. The weather here is my favorite part of NorCal. When we move back to Tulsa I will probably die from the heat/humidity.
