Back from my Mystery Quilting trip, brought home a 'stow a way' 221

I had a great time at my mystery quilting weekend - lots of good food and quilting. made one quilt top, a table topper and a ton of chicken pin cushions. My FW had a good time, to. I had one person tell me I had the quietest machine there! One other lady had a FW. She was having problem with her tension - it was way off. She said it sewed like charm before and she never had a problem until she took it in to be tuned up and cleaned. The LQS wanted to use hers as a sample, so they offered to do it for free. I looked at it quick - pull a little on the bobbin thread and it was EXTREMELY loose. I took the bobbin case out and looked at it and found it was missing one of the screws. It was so loose that if you held up it up by the thread the bobbin and case would drop to the floor. She tighten up the one screw left (I guess that helped) and sent her husband hunting for a new bobbin case.
Anyways - back to my stow a way. My sister had a FW that belonged to her MIL. She used it when she was first married to sew all her kids clothes, but hasn't sewn with it in years. While we were sewing at the weekend my DS said she should probably get the FW out of her closet and send it home with me so it got some sewing time in. When we got back to her house she got it out and I looked at it. Looks brand new. No smell (was kept in my DS closet), perfect condition - decals all there, bobbin case all shiny, manual, accessories, case with side tray, oil can, lube and automatic zig zagger with all 4 cams. DH was a little nervous when he unloaded the car and saw 2 machines - had to explain that, no, I didn't buy it and it's not mine, it's just visiting.

Now this is the kind of visitor I would like to have. Don't have to cook extra, no extra laundry, and it sure won't eat much!
