A base style question
 
is there a name for a base that resembles a pawfoot, except the entire perimeter of the base touches whatever it is on? Does the name change if the base has hinges to give access to the underside of the machine? Thanks in advance.

OK I looked again. It still had four feet but they barley extend beyond the main frame.. 1/4" at max.
