Wow, lucky you. Noisy or not, I love it, especially the color. My Gammill is turquoise. BTW, where have you been? ?This is the first posting I've seen out of you in a long time.....

well since you did not have an aqua one, this one fits in very well. and I guess it probably does not matter how long or well it sews, since it seems you got it because it was aqua : )

I inherited m y Mom's 328, made in the 50s. Mine looks just like yoursonly normal brown. I use it for quilting and my other machines for piecing or other sewing. DH cleans & oils insides regularly for me. Sound is not to bad. I would be quieter if in a cabnet. I have promised it to my 13 yr old DGD when she learns how to sew. She is named after my Mom.

I have a 348 Style Mate made in Clydebank, Scotland in 1962. Still sews like a dream:o She is an aqua blue too.
