Belt size for Singer 99k?

My Machinus Mustus Rescuitus affliction has flared up, and I am due to acquire a 99k this week. This is the machine I mentioned a wee while ago, where I was instructing the lady as to how to remove it from the cabinet. I am getting it cheep-cheep, and Macybaby, you will be jealous, as she is including any ATTACHMENTS which she had, both from it and from her treadle! ;-)

This 99k will need a new belt, as the lady (who did use it and knows the machine) says the belt has gone flat.

I will be at a sewing store before I get the machine; therefore I would prefer to get the belt right away. (With the Rescuitis Disease also comes Impatience; does anyone else have that?) ;-)

So, could someone kindly advise me as to the dimensions of the belt which I will need for this Singer 99k? I presume that they are all the same, for the same model machine...

Many thanks!

-Cecilia.

Cecilia,

My 99K has a 193077 belt on it. You can get actual specs for it at Sew-Classic.

Jenny at sew-classic is great, she will help you, support her and read about the 99 on her blog.
