Bernina 125 Grasshopper Clone

Greetings all, I have an Elna Grasshopper and absolutely love it. It is the quietist electric machine in my collection bar none. I just purchased the Bernina grasshopper clone, the Bernina 125. She is coming from Europe so she will have a 220 motor. A few questions: would it be worth it to have the motor re-wound to a 110? Second question would be whether this machine is also super quiet. I kind of got excited and bought her without asking this first. If the Bernina turns out to be as quiet and smooth as the grasshopper, I think she will be my go-to VSM. Anyone have the 125? TIA.

I would look for and try a 220 to 110 adapter before trying to rewire a motor, but the motor may not run at full speed on only 110.

220 to 110 plug adapter, I should have said.

I had to l look up the Bernina 125. After sifting thru a lot of Activa 125's I found a link that called it the 125 Jubilae. If this is the same one, it's so cute! Now I want one . . .

I got a quiet one.....

So I found a reference to the silence on this blog: Our Collection – In Stitches Sewing He shows the 125 and says it sews in near silence. The Elna grasshopper sews in near complete silence too. I am told the Jubilae was manufactured in 1953 while the original was manufactured in 1943. The Jubilae had both a foot pedal (some with the same foot pedal as the 530 Record), and also with the knee lever.
