Bernina 730?

I' looking at purchasing a Bernina 730 that came from an estate sale to use as a workhorse machine. It appears to be in decent condition with a variety of feet and does switch on fine. I'd likely have it reconditioned by someone who knows what they're doing. What would a machine like this be worth?
Thanks in advance for any input!

Looks like most of the sold auctions on eBay range anywhere from $100-$300, so somewhere in there depending on the condition/extras.

On Good Will auctions they also go for between $100 and $300. The 830s and 930s go high too. Berninas like these are highly sought after.

The Bernina 830 and 730 records are in demand. They are great machines! I have my mom's 830 and it's fast becoming my favorite (Sorry Ellie).

I recently found a 730 in a yard sale and am working to bring it back into condition.

Check the nylon gears inside the machine. You turn the handwheel and carefully watch all the way around and look for a crack. Those gears do fail at some point and need replacing, but there are replacements available so it is NOT a deal breaker! Just something to be aware of and a possible thing to negotiate price on.

Good luck! If you can get it, I would so yes, do so!
