Best Built on Craigslist

You guys have me off the rails, now. Playing on craigslist -- here is a 'best built'.

Is this considered a clone?

Now I have seen something called a 'commander' (http://charlotte.craigslist.org/atq/3259026562.html) and a 'domestic'(http://charlotte.craigslist.org/atd/3253445605.html)

Isn't that second one pretty? Brown!!

Lara,

Yes, the first machine is a clone and does appear to worth the $20.00 they're asking for it.
The second machine is a White or made by White and badged for someone else. As nice as it is I don't think I'd go more than $75.00 for total ensemble. But then I might change my mind if I saw it in person ... or run away.

The Commander was made for Sears, but I don't know who by. It's the right era to be a White though.

The Commander and Best Built both look like 15-90 clones to me. The Domestic is definitely a White. My first machine when I was a kid.

I got my 15-90 clone (electric blue) for $30 on Craigslist.

Some times you can look at the bottom of a clone and figure out who made it
