Black Universal, straight stitch machine needs parts

I just bought a Black Universal, made in Japan, straight stitch machine at thrift shop. I am going to need the motor belt, needles and the thread holders. I can't get it from the car yet as I can't lift it out by myself, but I was wondering how accessible these parts are going to be. The motor belt was jerry rigged with two heavy duty rubber bands and the motor ran smooth and quiet, before they broke.
This machine has the knee controller on the cabinet. No attachments as there is no drawer in the cabinet. The cabinet looks like a 70's blonde Scandinavian design so I don't know how old the machine is, though I suspect it is older than the cabinet it is in.

Sew-Classic { http://www.shop.sew-classic.com/ } has belts and thread pins. They aren't that expensive, and there's a good chance your LSMG would have them too.

A picture of the machine and cabinet would be nice when you get it out of your car. It would go a long way towards identifying it.

Should just take standard 15x1 needles that can be purchased almost anywhere that sells sewing supplies. I usually just buy Schmetz needles from Walmart.

I would love to see the machine. I bet it's a beauty! I second shopping at Sew Classic. you can order the belt the spool holders and the needles or anything else you might need from them. By the time you get it cleaned and oiled your things will most likely arrive and you can get the machine sewing.
