Bobbon thread not being picked up
 

I have a Singer Model 15-91. It has been working well until yesterday when it quit picking up the bobbin thread. I have tried everything I know and it still will not do it. It was just serviced in Sept so I hate to take it unless I have to.
Any suggestions?

Carmen did you change needles before the problem started? If so maybe you have the needle in the wrong way. That is what happens when the needle is in the wrong way on a Featherweight anyway.

Have you rethreaded the machine? Sometimes that does it.

Correct bobbin? Lint, thread, or debris in the bobbin area?

All the above. Most likely needle is in wrong.
