Brother Charger 031

I picked up the Brother yesterday for $30 at a thrift store. I took it to be cleaned and serviced this morning so I don't have it to post a picture of. It is missing the bobbin holder. Where can I pick up another one and any other feet for it? No place seems to even know of this machine.
Thanks for any help you can offer me.
Debbie

Debbie, I would think the person who is servicing it would know this information. Personally if they didn't I wouldn't let them touch it. Just my opinion on that. I saw a Brother with that number on GW several days ago but can't find it now. It must have one off. If your machine is like the one on GW it will use Class 15 bobbins and the appropriate Class 15 Bobbin case. There are two different class 15 bobbin cases that I'm sure of. One for the end loading machines and another one for the front loading machines. The difference is the slot the needle passes through when it's all the way down. The front loaders needs the wider slot. The end loads usually use the smaller slot but can use the wide one too. I don't know what style of feet it uses but you can find the tutorials on how to tell on Sew-Classic along with both the bobbin cases. { http://www.shop.sew-classic.com/ } Joe
