Wife and I like the the scraps of the scraps of the left overs blocks. Especially the second one. The colors match up nicely.

joe it was one of your post that got me started on these.. I had been using this junk for test patches, doing this is still a test...but I was left with what to do with the piece with the butterfly's
|
Frankly I love butterflys... both sewn down and with loose wings.
|
the butterfly's on this fabric are so pretty, I had to find something to do with them, Thats why I got out that Kenmore, she used it for making lamp shades and doll clothes, or anything with fine detailed work
The woman was a master artist |
John, love the butterflies. Your mom did lovely work!

Thanks chris,, mom didn't do any of this, I only said taht because of that kenmore . see, I did get two of her machines, but left the kenmore because it has an internal motor, knowing that, I just figured it also was a belt timed machine so on,,, I call this type a White Box machine,
This one motor is the very same as an external motored machine, just that it's inside kenmore 1720 aka 158.1720 , 1975 .. she liked it better than her singer 401a |
John, I guess I misunderstood. It is still beautiful work though and the butterflies really make the squares stand out.
Chris |
Pretty squares!
