It looks like one my mother had back in the 70's.

Looks like it would quilt without groaning!!! The throat is larger which is a big plus. I'd use that sucker!!!!!

I've never seen one with the mint green color! I love that color!

My first Brothers machine was bought in the early '60s. Can't remember exactly what it looked like, but something like this. It was a good machine which I trade in for a newer model a few years later. That one, I still have and it work great.

What a neat looking machine. I love the machines from that era. I have a Household machine that has similar styling. I would guess maybe the 60's . I don't know about yours but my Household is the one I use when I am sewing something heavy. I love my new Bother QC1000 but it doesn't do well on thicker fabrics and being what I paid for it I don't want to push.

I had a turquoise Singer from the late 60's so I would date your machine about the same time. I wish I had kept mine.

you might ask lostn51 (Billy might be able to help you)

Here I am!!

I think it is going to be around the early to mid 60's judging from the looks of it.

I will be honest with you the Japanese machine research is in its infancy and we are learning a lot about them but it will be a few years before we can be able to date it like the Kenmores, Singers and others.

I am really involved with the research and I have found out a lot of things about the Japanese manufacturers but I will say this every time I find out some fact that can help it raises 10 more questions and opens up a whole new avenue to the research.
