My sister(baby, eight years younger) called me on the phone, saying "This guy just gave me an old machine, in original cabinet, it's an Imperial Kenmore model 117.59, in pretty good condition, do you want it?" Without a pause the yes came out. Yes, yes, yes. She will bring it down on the third of Nov., I can't wait. Can anyone tell me anything more about it?

Yeah, I can't believe how excited I am. I guess I am becoming a collector, I have another in a carrying case that is in storage, needs new belts, then I think it will be okay.

I have 2 of the same model - you will love it. Sews great stitches (after I finally get the tensions adjusted). Just remember the wheel turns the opposite direction.
