Cession Treadle Sewing Machine HELP

4 Attachment(s)
I have a Raymond Cession treadle sewing machine and cannot find any information so that I can purchase replacement parts. The manual says 1923 but is entirely in French.

It's a beautiful machine! What parts do you need?

I am looking for a belt. Thank you for responding back so quickly 😊

Belt is generally no problem, you adjust the size and clip it together youself. There are two sizes as far as I know, and most domestic machines take the more narrow type. They come in different lengths, but as mentioned most are about half a centimeter wide like this one. I could not find anything on your model specifically, your machine has an unusually tall thread guide for the bobbin winder. If you have the shuttle, bobbin and the corrent needle in the machine it should be easier to get it going. Oiling and cleaning is usually straight enough forward to go by general instructions and use your intuition, the experts will help you with the threading if needed.

Welcome. I believe most treadle belts are 72" long and 3/16" thick and are trimmed to size.

There are some alternatives that can be used, also. I used airline tubing on one, just to see if it could sew. Some of the links are no longer valid, but some are at https://www.quiltingboard.com/vintag...lt-t80096.html and https://www.quiltingboard.com/vintag...e-t214732.html and probably many others.
