Looks like a precursor to the 'sew-ez' tables currently on the market. Maybe it is????

That is a cool one. There's one like that on my local CL for much higher than that price and it's been there for several months. The rounded style probably was made for a certain brand of machine. There are more generic ones too. I have a rectangular generic free arm one and one made for either a flat bed machine or a serger that has a little drawer on the left side.

maybe it is because I grew up looking at that style stuff, but I find it actually painful to the eyes.... I know some folks LOVE it and I harbor no ill will towards them but shudder....

at one time the sally army's where flooded with those. I'd just shake my head.

Now I'd like to find one, Aaaaaaaaaaa Butt ... I'd turn it into a shooting bench ..

It's an Elna machine table. I want one!

I love the look of this table.

I've got one similar to that one but without the rounded top. Mine is just rectangular. I doubt it would be suitable for a shooting bench as it's just not that stable. Might fool me though. It's marked
"Marked Pfaff 1222 or Pfaff / 222 on the bottom, Made in U.S.A."

We've never used it and I doubt we ever will.

I have 1 of each of those.

Macybaby 12-17-2014 07:16 AM

I had a similar table like Joe posted for my Viking and one for the serge - I used it a lot, and after a bit the brackets holding the front leg started to bend and it ended up with a noticeable downward slope. So I bought a cheap icky one and traded the legs and got several more years out of it.

I would say not stable if you are bench rest shooting, but OK if you just want a shooting stand and aren't testing loads or something where you need to make sure the gun is not moving around on you.

I had this exact table for my Pfaff1222 I got from my mom. It's the only machine I LOVE. When we were doing some moving it accidentally got left outside the "trainbox" and a storm hit. I had to throw it away which about broke my heart! You need to get a Pfaff 1222 and use it. Perfect machine and great table!

The pfaff style doesn't work for shooting, you need one with only 3 feet at the ground to be stable

FYI those pfaff 1222 / 1221's are the Bee's knees

One of mine is exactly like this but doesn't have a label for a specific machine. My 1956 Brother Pacesetter perfectly fits in it.
My flat bed table is built fixed in position like this one, it doesn't have the ability to flip the left side down flat like the free arm table does. It has a small drawer built under the left side.

I didn't know they made one for a Pfaff 1222! I'll be watching out for one of these now. Gotta save your photo for reference so I know what I'm looking for!
