She is awesome. Thanks for sharing.

Lathes key in nicely with this stuff. I want to find a small metal working lathe in a barn. I'd have a better chance back east probably. I use a rag wheel to polish with jewelers rouge.

Well folks the treadle arrived last night. (most of it anyway...)
My mom packed it really well. Two more boxes arriving on Friday with the rest. LOTS of work going to be needed here. http://www.quiltingboard.com/attachm...d=492032&stc=1 http://www.quiltingboard.com/attachm...d=492033&stc=1 http://www.quiltingboard.com/attachm...d=492034&stc=1 |

Here she is after the first cleaning pass.. http://www.quiltingboard.com/attachm...d=492035&stc=1 This is the first set of Singer irons like this I have had that have the original goldwork http://www.quiltingboard.com/attachm...d=492036&stc=1 The Velcro straps are holding it together while the glue sets, the whole front panel could come off the glue was so shot, But she cleaned up really nice. http://www.quiltingboard.com/attachm...d=492037&stc=1 |
I was wondering what the red stripes were. That's going to look great when you're done.
