I have a Defender Treadle by AG Mason model # 5137325. I need it dated, I know the history of the company.

Welcome. The only differences I see between your machine and the one shown at https://vintagesewingmachinesblog.wo...e-mason-jones/ are the decals and the thread tension. Could be that the tension got traded out or is incomplete.
