Does a singer 6212 use cams?

My co worker has a singer 6212 that was having tension/thread problems and she asked me to look at it. She brought it to work, I lugged to my van . . . lugged it into the house and opened it to check it out. To make a long story short . . . she had the bobbin in backwards. The machine is running great.

Anyway, my question is . . . does anyone know if this machie uses cams . . . and if so, where do you put them? The attachment box she gave me had a ton of tiny cams. I looked for an hour trying to find where they go . . . even read the instruction book (after I couldn't find the spot). She has no clue.

ArizonaKAT,

Pictures might help. I don't know everything, but I've only seen two basic types of cams for Singers and they are not tiny.
She could have cams for something else.
