Drawer find

This just amused me. It's a little envelope with a needle in it. Stop winding bobbins! $18 and up.

Yes, I've heard of the two spool machines. Too bad the idea didn't catch on.

I've wondered what spools will fit. Might be one has to rewind spools now instead of bobbins?

The medium size older spools fit - without trying I've got a lot of the right size (thread spools are a common item stuffed in drawers of older cabinets). And yes, if you don't have a pre-wound spool, you have to wind them - but that is what the spool winder is for. It does not look a whole lot different than a long bobbin winder, just fits a larger spool.

A few years ago I thought I saw a machine think it was husq viking? that there was a space to fit a spool of thread under the machine close to the bobbin and you could rewind bobbin without taking it has anybody else seen anything like this? I don't think I was dreaming it LOL!
