Dressmaker 290F Help Please
 
I have inherited a Dressmaker 290F in a wooden cabinet. I know that the machine is newly cleaned and serviced, but I have no idea how to use it and what all kinds of things it can do. Can you quilt on this machine is it capable of that? Also where can I buy feet that will fit the machine as it did not come with other accessories just the standard presser foot? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There are many variations of Dressmakers. Like amyjo said a picture will help ID the machine.

Likely, it's a low shank machine but go to SewClassic and you'll find how to tell the difference. You can buy anything you need for the machine at SewClassic and if you have questions, e-mail Jenny there and she'll be happy to help you place your order.
