Elgin 2468 proper threading
Does anybody have a clear picture on how to properly thread this machine I need to see a good picture. I just want to make sure I've done it right

I found a place to download a 2468 manual for $10 at https://www.tias.com/cgi-bin/rv.fcgi?itemKey=3923291409
A free manual for the 1145 can be found at https://www.singer.com/sites/default...e-s-1145-x.pdf which looks very similar to the 2468 as far as the threading is concerned. I will enlarge pdf files on my computer to better be able to see what I need to. Janey - Neat people never make the exciting discoveries I do. |
Thank you again . It looks like I did it right. I took pics just incase I forget.

Up and runing good
I ordered all the parts that I needed for my Elgin 2468 and I replaced bobbin winder ring, bobbin case and shuttle and got my tension set . It's running beautiful now and I want to thank everybody who contributed to helping me get it running thank you.

Isn't it a great feeling. We do have good folks here.

Welcome Arianna. Bobby hasn't been on for a few months. What kind of parts are you looking for?
We like pictures. In order to post pictures on Quilting Board, you will probably need to reduce or compress the picture to a file size that is smaller than 2MB. How to post images can be found at https://www.quiltingboard.com/attach...020-01-17-.pdf Don't forget to scroll over to the far right to find and click on the "Upload" button. And Arianna, oiling and cleaning our old besties usually fix them with out need for parts. Jump on it.

I have the machine and the manual. What sort of things are you looking for?

The Elgin 2468 is the same as the White 2468. That might help.
