singer/Kenmore description of attachment
Active attachments for Singer sewing machines where the position of the material is controlled by a lever connecting to the needle clamp screw
this attachment will fit low shank, high shank, straight stitch, ziz zag.

how to use attachment
thread your machine
load fabric in hoop
attach to needle clamp(big white thing to looks like button holer get attached to needle clamp)
put any picture you want in tracer and trace while machine embroidery what you are tracing.
and fill in after you have full tracer all of picture with any color thread you want.

I don't know how old this attachment is (year made). It is easy to use . You can use
a color picture, black and white picture or you can design your own picture.
I have tried to look up this attachment on internet and can not find any
information on it. I bought it on ebay.
I ready enjoy using it.:o

Oh D, that sure is a neat looking attachment. Not like the one I have but this is neat to own. You did good getting from ebay. I can understand how it works but never ever seen one. Thank you for sharing with all of us.

That is just the bees knees! It looks quite intuitive to use: put in a picture, put the fabric in, load contraption onto sewing machine, start embroidering. Seems the only trick to it is keeping the movement of the embroidery piece even with the speed of the sewing machine, though it's probably only a little harder than getting good at free-motion quilting. (I'm trying to talk myself into getting one if I see it. :) )

thank you and it is lots of fun...I am getting use to drawing and keeping machine at a slow even speed.

yes after looking up pantograph, because i didn't know what that was. you are so right
that is what it is. I learn for this site every day. Everybody is so smart. Thank you for
teaching me what a pantograph is.
