Encyclopedia of Early American Sewing Machines

Quite awhile back, there was mention here of Carter Bays, The Encyclopedia of Early American Sewing Machines. I happened to be browsing my favorite used book website today and found several copies available. Some 1st editions start at $40.00. Looks like he's published his 3rd edition and I ordered one of those.
So if your interested, check out alibris.com. Couldn't find the one mentioned by Charles Law, but that's for another day.
Really enjoy all the info you folks have on the vintage page, so maybe it's my turn to contribute something!

Enjoy your book. I have the second edition. When I was going to buy the 3rd, Carter said there would be a fourth edition and to wait. Unfortunately the publisher decided to suspend all publications. I decided I would not pay the prices being asked for the 3rd edition, so I bought a PDF from the publisher for less than $25.
