experimenting to tell u news

I have never started a new thread so that is part of the experiment but now I need to learn how to get a photo from my Easy Share Kodak program into the thread . Don't know why I was having such trouble previously as today I found it easy.
Promised myself I am NOT doing any sewing until I go through this learning curve so I can share my work and machines.
The reason is I finally got my Singer 99k Handcrank machine and it looks so good I wanted to share. Gee, maybe I will get to like sending posts and pics. Now going to try more work with the photo part but I already spent an hour. Today also printed a photo on actual photo paper in the printer so I'm getting there.
Thanks for reading and any suggestions appreciated.

You are steps ahead of me. I have been making Doll Quilts. It is fun and am meeting ladies from all over the Globe. Hugs and good luck

If you click on the icon that looks like the one that I highlighted
it will open a box to pick the picture you want
click the words "from computer"
then click "browse"
find your picture file on your PC
select it and click "open"

it will show up as a tiny box that will open once you save the message.

PLEASE make sure the image is not larger than 640x480 or it will be hard for some folks to open here.

I can never get that Picture button to insert a pic from my computer. It will allow you to link to a pic that is already posted someplace on the Internet, though.

To upload one, I go to Advanced reply mode (Go Advanced blue button) and a blue Manage Attachments button appears below this window. And that is what I have to use to actually upload a picture here. I am using Firefox broswer, though, in case that is the problem.

That doesn't work for me in Firefox. When I click that Upload Files and it just hangs up forever with "contacting Quilting Board" or something like that. It never uploads a file, no matter what file size.

If you use the "long way" that I said, the Advanced mode, the popup window tells you want the file size limits are, and it will also give you status messages like uploading, uploaded, or failed to upload. It's the only way I have made files upload.
