Ok I've received great tips for oiling my machine. So how much are these machines are costing these days? About 10 -15 years I paid $350.

They, like many other antique, collectibles have come down in price. They can be purchased on Ebay, without cases for $167 to $200. Some with cases have gone from $167=350. A lot depends on the paint grade and "goodies" that come with the machine. Asking prices on Ebay aren't selling prices. You can check "sold" prices for the machine.

Forgot to add that machines with known defects can go for less, but those are the exception. Research is needed to establish a price for a certain machine, with case and attachments, etc. I bought one for $162 with nothing with it. I later found a disheveled case and redid it.

Its so tricky with these guys. The past year I've been trying to find one for under $200 with no luck. Everyone around here is asking $300+. Just missed out on a 222k for $650.

I think in our area they are also in the $200-$350 range. There was a bubble a while back when prices were going higher, but now it's pretty stable for a machine in good condition. It depends a lot where you buy it - tag sales might be way less, but anyone who knows what amazing little darlings they are will probably charge you the going rate for your area.
