I bought my first Featherweight from a lady in Southern California and my second one I picked up at a local garage sale - the lady was asking $125 for it and I didn't even check to see if it worked - the machine looked fine and the case was in good shape - I gave her the money, took the machine and RAN! lol

That sounds like something I would do, lol....I can just see you trying to be smug and paying up and getting the heck out of there. At that price I would have too. Love it.

What I love about the earlier ones is the Egyptian faceplate. Love the scrollwork! Congratulations!
