Can someone tell me the difference between a featherweight 221 and a 221-1? Thanks

I'm sure someone on here will have the right answer, but I don't think there is a difference. If there is, it's probably the location where the machine was made. I'm going to wait and see what others have to say.

Well I looked it up and this is what Bill Eaton has to say about it:

"the only difference between the 221 and the 221-1 is the "1". No one left alive knows the reason for the -1. Bill E "
