featheweight needles

What brand of singer needles do you buy for your featheweight, where do you get them ? I noticed ebay has singer white & red packs, Organ Singer, Singer white, red & green packs, and Singer red packs, all stating they are for Singer Feather weights. My original package is gold and black???
thanks in advance.

You want Schmetz needles. Singer needles are poor quality.

Singer needles use to be great but they are very cheaply made now. Schmetz needles are fine but I personally am using Organ needles in my Featherweight right now as I got a really good deal on them at a local Quilt show. Featherweights use regular sewing machine needles and the best ones are the ones that are a good name brand on sale!
