I am trying to find a snap on feed dog cover/plate for a Singer 5102, if anyone has a link to one it would be very much appreciated, Thank you!

There is a part number listed here, but says it is no longer available. It's about halfway down the page. Looks like a non-branded generic part.

https://www.singeronline.com/noname2.html does not list a 5102. They do have a free technical support phone number listed at the top of the page. This needle plate may be what you need. It came up when I did a search but it's odd that they don't list a 5102. https://www.singeronline.com/needleplate12.html

If you want to drop the feed dogs for free-motion quilting, you don't really need to. When you loosen the presser foot tension, and have a free-motion foot, you don't need to drop or cover the feed dogs for free-motion quilting. I leave my feed dogs up, and it gives me a rhythm to help keep my stitch length more even. There are a lot of people who do that.

I found the cover plate listed as 170315, but listed as unavailable on sewingpartsonline.com. You might be able to find one on eBay. You can set up a search for different things. Ebay will notify you when one becomes available.

I've also seen a 3x5 card taped over the feed dogs with just a needle hole cut.
