Finally bagged a Pheasant

I have been staying away from GW and CL as I REALLY don't need any more sewing machines. But when I saw this Singer with the Pheasant decals I had to make an exception. I placed the minimum bid thinking that I was not going to get into a bidding war and if I lost it, well so be it.

I also did the same with a Singer 99 because I wanted the knee controller for another 99. Has anyone fabricated a knee controller?

Awesome!!!

Oh - that Pheasant is wonderful. I'd snap up one of those if it came my way, but I'm not actively looking. I've got a near pristine Tiffany 27 that would have to find a new home if I found a Pheasant.

Oh yes! I too would pick up that Pheasant if it crossed my path at the right price. Congratulations!

I love the Pheasants. They are very hard to find, much less in good condition! Congratulations!

Yep, I made one for Cathy one evening when she stopped by.

Sweet!
I'm glad you got it. I was eyeing that one pretty hard and decided to pass because I need some more practical runners first. I wouldn't have gained anything but good looks with that one. That 99 is pretty sweet too.

Nice machine -- I'm blessed to have my grandmothers Pheasant. All the sweeter because I know the wear marks are from her hands. :)

Used and loved by family is the best type of machine.
