First Treadle!
Bought my first treadle yesterday, a Singer 66-8 Redeye! (1921). I think I may actually be brave enough to start working on this one myself as there is no risk of electrocution :p

Speechless. That red eye hurts my collecting soul

Very pretty!

Very nice machine. I love how it has been used and used! Look at Muv's tutorial for cleaning before you clean it. You don't really need to refinish it but cleaning it would make you feel good.

What an interesting cabinet. Enjoy your treadle. I pieced my first quilt (King size) on my treadle in the late 70s.

Gorgeous!!

Great machine and cabinet. I think you'll find it's actually a 66-1. The 66-8 manual is probably a newer one. Check the serial number on the machine vs the date on the manual.

So pretty, I really love that cabinet.

Absolutely Beautiful!!

What beautiful decals! I agree with Joe, it is a 66-1. You can tell by the back-clamping attachments. You will love her! I have a 66-1 red eye (not as pretty as yours) and a 66-1 with the Lotus decals. Great fun to sew on!
