Fun machine on Shopgoodwill

Here's a fun machine that doesn't come up often.

My finances are still in the toilet so I can't bid.
It's a transverse long bobbin zigzag machine. Very interesting design. I've seen it in a couple other brands too.

THAT ... is a very interesting and appealing machine. Were it here rather than Hillsboro I'd go for it. But their shipping is atrocious.

Also according to my manufacturers chart, J-C 34 is made by Toyota. That should be a really nice machine.
I wonder what size shuttle and bobbins it uses?

Joe if it were here rather than there it would already be $500 or some such - have you noticed all the deep pockets???

why is all the good stuff in the north?! I think every goodwill machine I've ever wanted to bid on has been in Oregon! the shipping alone is $50 estimated for me and the bid is already at $25. I gotta have restraint - went too long without! plus I'm wanting one of those hot pink machines :-) staying away from here for a while has helped LOL!

A very interesting machine! I don't think that I've ever seen that bobbin set-up in such a modern SM.

Yes, I've seen them. I think the days of inexpensive sewing machines is all but over. It's the new fad, collecting machines.
