Funny vintage sewing machine lamp
Found something funny this morning:

Curious to know if it was sold like that or if somebody someday just decide to convert an unused sewing machine into something else. |

Not enough to read by, but cozy all the same. ;-) One -could- add that crazy hat-lime lamp as you showed in the link, and still have a functioning sewing machine. Now there's a thought! |
Someone inexplicably decided to turn a rather nice sewing machine into a lamp. Too bad they felt the need to drill through the bed in order to do so.
Someone posted an ad a while back that had two Singer machines turned into lamps. Too bad, as that shade would have made an interesting lamp by itself. |

This is just criminal. Apparently there are no quilters in that family

I have seen two around here in antique shops, made into lamps. It kinda hurts the soul to see this done to a good old machine.

Thats what I thought too! Both elements are cool on their own but it looks like someone just took 2 vintage items and slapped them together. The seller probably could have gotten $150 each if they had kept them separate !
Sorry, but I am in Sewing machine and Lamp, never the twain shall meet club. |
