Garage Sale Find - White Rotary Electric
 

DH's cousin was garage saleing yesterday. Texted me a pic and said do you want this White Rotary for $20.

I started to text "yes", had a call come in, thought I had sent the text and answered the call. Several hours later, I realized that I had not sent the text. Sent it and she was at a school meeting. She called the seller, they wouldn't hold it for her until today. She went today and texted that it was gone. Couple of minutes later, she texted that they had rearranged stuff and it was still there. Says it's dirty and some water damage on the wood. She's bringing it over tomorrow. Will post better pics when I actually get my hands on her.

My mother would not let me sew on her machine, the same as that one. It just sat there. I was eleven when I took advantage of her absence one day, took it all apart, cleaned it, fiddled, and when she got home, was sewing away. Never had to ask again, it was mine from then on. I have one but the old round plugs are impossible to find. I keep looking for one, hoping for good wiring and a working motor. Lucky, lucky you.

I hope the hinges on the drawers are intact, they are unique. And look how someone had padded the knee pedal!
