GE Model A "Pre-Featherweight"
10 Attachment(s)
Hey folks, here is the GE Model A that we just picked up for $40.
Research shows that a run of 5000 of these machines were made between 1931-1936 There are three "versions" early made by Standard/Osann, late made by Standard//Osann, and after mid 34 (made by Singer) Mine seems to be in the middle group, after the bed was made of aluminum, but before Singer bought the company and made the Featherweight based on it. We are missing the foot pedal at this point. I may wire something up tonight be be able to test it.
Needs a good cleaning first though. here are a couple more shots.
