HelenAnn - right now I'm trying to figure out how I can keep a small kitchen area and still have plenty of room for the longarm. With just DH and I now, I don't need to process like I did, so a smaller area will be fine. I'll just have to make sure I have nothing on the long arm if I'm doing a lot of tomatoes. It would be nice to be simmering a batch of sauce while I'm quilting.

My tomato plants are loaded, but just handful have turned so far. I've got long hours in at work this week (auditors on site) so I'm fine that they aren't ready yet, since I'm not ready yet either!

I was wondering how long it would take before you decided to expand your sewing machine room. You have a great collection and a great space for your machines. It's only natural you would want to get the rest of your machines on display too.

Perhaps you could build a new, smaller summer kitchen that would suit your needs now. I too was wondering how long it would take until you wanted to expand your machine shed. I think what you're doing with the machines is wonderful.

I run around way to much in the summer to try and keep up with a vege garden but my neighbors are market gardeners so I get my salsa stuff from them.
Just when I think I can settle down with a project my parents need something.
The bigger shed will be nice and you can have a summer kitchen lean to.
