I'm so excited. I've been looking at them on e-bay for weeks. My best friend has one and I've used it and loved the way it sewed, the way it sounded, loved the portability and the solidness of it -- just overall loved it. So, I just kept looking and looking until I was able to get one that was in good shape and within my price range. It should arrive in about a week or so. Can't wait. :)

I just got one on 8/18 and love it. I really was not looking for one but my local Craigslist had one for sale right down the street and I got it for less than $100! One handle on the case is broken but I am not a perfectionist! You will love it

Great news. Happy dance.

Sure am doing a happy dance. :) And I'll be checking on her progress with Fed Ex every step of the way. She's on her way. Got to think of a name for her now.

With all the weather issues around here, I haven't had a chance to post a picture of my new addition. She arrived before Irene did so I was able to do some sewing with her. We never lost power so I got to play. I just love her!!! She is so quiet and sews so nice. :) I'm trying to pick the perfect name for her. I'm leaning towards Emma because it's sort of an older sounding name and it's also a favorite book of mine by Jane Austin. I have almost finished my first project on her.
