Is this a good deal???

I found this online, and was wondering if it would be worth the 2-2.5 hour drive.
Any info would be awesome!

It depends on how badly you want a red eye and the real condition of it and the cabinet. I'd ask for better pictures myself.

Kittywolf13 10-08-2012 04:16 AM

I'd say it looks like a good deal but the cabinet is shot and needs lots of tlc. I second the motion for more pics!

Lara122 10-08-2012 04:52 AM

since it is so far away, asking for more pictures is entirely reasonable. Odd that they didn't get closer to begin with!

Got on your pony and go grab this one ------- $25? There are many of them out there but few in that price range ..........

irishrose 10-08-2012 08:57 AM

Go get it. I've seen cabinets that were a pile of sticks resurrected. This appears to all there. The decals look good.

jennb 10-08-2012 09:00 AM

I would be all over that. The cabinet can be easily refinished and it looks like all the irons are intact and in good shape. The center drawer likely just needs a bracket to hold that one side.

MimiBug123 10-08-2012 12:41 PM

I would sooooo be on the way. For $25 you can't go wrong. Even if it turns out to be a pile of junk, you can part it out and get your money back.

AuntieD 10-08-2012 02:49 PM

I'd go for it.

quilter68 10-09-2012 11:31 AM

I am hoping that you are already home and polishing that BABY up! It is a great deal,

Mariposa 10-09-2012 02:44 PM

Go for it! Only $25-? Oh yeah! Looks like all is there, and just needs some tinkering and elbow grease. OK-I may be wrong here, may take more! Anyways, let us know how it turns out!

Bitzy One 10-09-2012 04:54 PM

I'd go for it -- doesn't look that bad. It's a great price for the whole deal and you can always make a shopping trip out of it

startella18 10-09-2012 08:12 PM

I'm going to get it thursday, i'd be going tomorrow if I didn't have to work.
But the money from work is paying for it, so I guess.

tlrnhi 10-09-2012 08:18 PM

I'm glad you are going to get it. She's a beautiful machine, even tho the cabinet needs work. You can still enjoy her while you check around for someone who can restore the cabinet.

nygal 10-10-2012 01:52 AM

I would buy it fast!

Caroline S 10-10-2012 07:32 AM

Yep, good deal. I am glad you are getting her.

startella18 10-10-2012 09:41 AM

My hubby will probably restore the cabinet, he likes to work with wood.
He wants to restore the two that i already have.

DonnaMiller 10-10-2012 12:59 PM

You might as well get it or it will be all over your mind with buyer's regret, or non-buyers regret that is.

startella18 10-10-2012 02:54 PM

Ok so I have the distance wrong, I dont know how I did it but its 4 hours away not 2.
It should fit in my car, but is it still worth it?
Also do the irons come off of the table?
